NASA Hubble Telescope art
August 11, 2007 on 4:19 pm | In Space Art |Now, I want to start out fair & honest with everyone, even though it may not profit me to do so.
1 – These are artistic manipulations based on NASA/Hubble images – the originals are free to download and have a print made, I simply offer artistically enhanced versions for 10% over the printing cost, with the permission of the NASA Copyright office. I offer them at that price so I can start to earn at least a little money as I work to become known a little for my normal art. Plus it saves you the time of downloading large files and then uploading somewhere to have the print made. I will also be enlarging some of the images at NASA that are too small for print, like the Jupiter artwork shown here.
2 – I am not in any way, shape or form connected to NASA or any other government or scientific organization. I am simply a disabled person working hard to rebuild a shattered life.
The Hubble telescope images are a good deal of the inspiration of my normal digital artworks. I am somewhat limited on what I have to work with, yet I passionately weave light into colorful illusions. Working with the NASA images is fun and I like to shift styles around during my days to keep me from getting art block. Each and every day my depression allows me to function I work hard to be as productive as I can. Much of the time it is nowhere near as much as I wanted to so please be patient, I will try to post a new one every few days. I have lots of other art if you’d care to just browse about, perhaps you’ll find one or two you’d love on your wall and help me earn a buck or two.
My NASA / Hubble Art page - Prints are available in several sizes & on a variety of fine art papers or as canvas prints, with custom framing available as well.
